Maine High School Basketball - Gray-New Gloucester trounces Lake Region

The Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), 80-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Falcons go into the A South test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Freeport was trounced by Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME), 48-45, in a non-league test.
The Lakers now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Wells for a B South test on Tuesday, January 31. Lake Region will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 59-57 non-league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 4-9.
