Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), 91-68 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gray-New Gloucester upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, ME) to play the Dragons in a A South bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Brunswick won 55-51 in their recent league bout against Biddeford (Biddeford, ME)

Next up, the Lakers play the Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Lake Region will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME).
