Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Country Christian Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 92-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Trinity Christian upgrades its record to 23-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Midland Christian (Midland, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 20-14. Midland Christian won 65-35 in their recent league bout against Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Grace Prep Lions (Arlington, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Lake Country Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-26 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 17-8 record after their 76-59 league win over Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX).
