The St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) basketball felled the host LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL), 57-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Sabers (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 13-9 record. In their last test, Clifton Central thwarted Milford (Milford, IL), 37-36, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Flanagan-Cornell for a Heart of Illinois test on Friday, February 3.
