Idaho High School Basketball - Malad knocked off by West Side

The West Side Pirates basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Malad Dragons to 42 in the Pirates league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Soda Springs for a 2A South East Idaho contest on Wednesday, February 1. West Side will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 64-59 league loss to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-15.
The Dragons (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID). The Bears enter the 2A South East Idaho contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Bear Lake ran past Rich (Randolph, UT), 68-33, in a non-league contest.
