Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County falls to North Tahoe

In Saturday's league match, the visiting North Tahoe Lakers basketball team scored a good 61-46 triumph over the Pershing County Mustangs.

In their next game, the Lakers meet the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. North Tahoe will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Railroaders enter the match with a 6-10 record after their 46-42 league win over Wooster (Reno, NV).

With the defeat, Pershing County moves to 9-12 on the year. The Mustangs host Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV) to meet the Nighthawks in a 2A Northern match on Tuesday, January 31. The Nighthawks enter the match with a record of 1-12. Silver Stage lost 64-30 in their recent league match against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV)
