With the victory, Pearl River Central upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Long Beach (Long Beach, MS) to play the Bearcats in a 5A Region 7 challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Long Beach lost 63-25 in their recent league challenge against Picayune (Picayune, MS)

Next up, the Hurricanes play the St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. West Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 14-11 record after their 40-28 league loss to D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS).
