The Benet Academy Redwings routed the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers basketball team by a final score of 70-34 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Redwings face the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic game, on Wednesday, February 1. Benet Academy will attempt to move on its 17-6 season record. The Corsairs enter the game with a 20-5 record after their 53-43 league win over Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL).
With the defeat, Joliet Catholic moves to 12-15 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, January 30. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 4-18.
