In Saturday's league outing, the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), by a count of 61-18.
The Redwings (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Proviso West was crushed by York (Elmhurst, IL), 55-24, in a league outing.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Ottawa for a non-league outing on Monday, January 9. Joliet Catholic will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 59-48 league win over Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 15-4.
