Maine High School Basketball - Mattanawcook can't hold off Penobscot Valley

The Penobscot Valley Howlers basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the host Mattanawcook Lynx to 29 in the Howlers league victory on Saturday.
The Howlers now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Penobscot Valley will battle a Lakers team coming off a 38-35 non-league win over Shead (Eastport, ME). The Lakers record now stands at 4-7.
The Lynx (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Minutemen come into the C North contest with a 8-5 record.
