In Saturday's non-league outing, the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA), by a count of 35-24.

The Panthers (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA). The Crusaders go into the Colonial - East outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Notre Dame-Green Pond defeated Palisades (Kintnersville, PA), 36-13, in a league match.

With the defeat, Moravian Academy moves to 4-9 on the year. The Lions host William Allen (Allentown, PA) to meet the Canaries in a non-league match on Monday, January 30. The Canaries enter the match with a record of 1-9. William Allen lost 63-26 in their recent league match against Parkland (Allentown, PA)
