In Saturday's league match, the visiting North Tahoe Lakers basketball team scored a tight 35-31 triumph over the Pershing County Mustangs.
In their next game, the Lakers face the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. North Tahoe will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Railroaders enter the match with a 1-14 record after their 57-17 league loss to Wooster (Reno, NV).
With the defeat, Pershing County moves to 14-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV) to face the Nighthawks in a 2A Northern match on Tuesday, January 31. The Nighthawks enter the match with a record of 1-11.
