California High School Basketball - Pershing County nipped by North Tahoe

January 7, 2023: Tahoe City, CA 96161

The North Tahoe Lakers nipped the visiting Pershing County Mustangs basketball squad by a margin of 32-30 in Saturday's league test.

The Lakers (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Highlanders go into the 2A Northern test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Incline was tipped by Pershing County (Lovelock, NV), 59-15, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Coral Academy of Science - Reno for a 2A Northern test on Tuesday, January 10. Pershing County will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 36-25 non-league loss to Sage Ridge (Reno, NV). The Falcons record now stands at 1-6.
