In Saturday's non-league outing, the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA), by a margin of 70-24.

The Blue Devils (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Veterans (Kathleen, GA). The Warhawks go into the AAAAAA Region 1 outing with a 19-3 record. In their last outing, Veterans smashed Perry (Perry, GA), 54-28, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they host Berrien for a AA Region 1 outing on Saturday, February 4.
