The Tift County Blue Devils basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Sumter County Panthers to 23 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valdosta for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Tift County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 62-28 non-league win over Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-5.

The Panthers (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Westover (Albany, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Westover was routed by Tift County (Tifton, GA), 37-31, in a non-league contest.
