In Sunday's league outing, the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) basketball squad felled the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), by a margin of 84-71.
The Eagles (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Stags go into the Washington Catholic outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, DeMatha was beaten by St. John's (Washington, DC), 61-56, in a league outing.
