Virginia High School Basketball - Arcadia crushes Chincoteague

The Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA), 74-41 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Firebirds now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Northampton for a Eastern Shore bout on Thursday, January 30. Arcadia will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 51-48 league loss to Nandua (Onley, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Chincoteague falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Ponies host Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD) to play the in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29. The go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Salisbury Christian lost 69-40 in their recent non-league bout against Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE)
