Virginia High School Basketball - Arcadia routs Chincoteague

February 6, 2025: Chincoteague, VA 23336

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Arcadia Firebirds basketball team scored a big 82-50 triumph over the Chincoteague Ponies.

The Firebirds (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Yellowjackets go into the Eastern Shore contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Northampton smashed Mathews (Mathews, VA), 69-66, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Ponies battle the Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA) in a Eastern Shore contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Chincoteague will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record.
