The Asheville School (Independent) Blues basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles to 43 in the Blues league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blues now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Calvary Day School for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Asheville School (Independent) will confront a Cougars team coming off a 71-61 league loss to Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee falls to 8-14 on the campaign. The Eagles host Christ School (Arden, NC) to confront the Greenies in a NCISAA Carolinas game on Thursday, January 30. The Greenies go into the game with a record of 19-1. Christ School won 59-47 in their recent league game against Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC)
