Michigan High School Basketball - Merrill overwhelms Ashley

The Merrill Vandals basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Ashley Bears to 22 in the Vandals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vandals now possess a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Fulton for a Mid-State game on Thursday, January 30. Merrill will confront a Pirates team coming off a 46-41 league win over Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Ashley falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Webberville (Webberville, MI) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 9-5. Webberville lost 60-59 in their recent non-league game against Potterville (Potterville, MI)
