The Central Lee Hawks nipped the visiting Mediapolis Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 47-42 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Hawks face the Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 31. Central Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 4-11 record after their 77-61 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, IA).
The Bulldogs (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA). The Crusaders enter the non-league outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Holy Trinity Catholic got by New London (New London, IA), 80-36, in a league outing.
