In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mediapolis Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 67-47 win over the Central Lee Hawks.

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Holy Trinity Catholic defeated New London (New London, IA), 74-24, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Central Lee will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 92-51 non-league loss to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA).
