Ohio High School Basketball - St. John thwarts Conneaut

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH) and the visiting Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), observed St. John's basketball team knock off Conneaut by a score of 72-63.
The Fighting Herald (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 2-15 record. In their last challenge, Cardinal dropped by Crestwood (Mantua, OH), 90-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge, on Friday, January 31. Conneaut will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 80-40 non-league loss to West Geauga (Chesterland, OH).
