St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), 70-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. John upgrades its record to 12-8 on the year. The Fighting Herald travel to Crestwood (Mantua, OH) to face the Red Devils in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 16-4. Crestwood lost 62-38 in their recent non-league match against Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH)
The Spartans now sport a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maplewood for a non-league match on Saturday, February 15. Conneaut will face a Rockets squad coming off a 73-31 league loss to Bristol (Bristolville, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 4-16.
