The Wolverines (19-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A Region II District 12 challenge with a 20-10 record. In their last challenge, Lone Star edged Turner (Carrollton, TX), 79-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs play the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, January 31. Creekview will attempt to move on its 9-19 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 20-10 record after their 74-59 league win over Highland Park (Dallas, TX).
