New Jersey High School Basketball - Southern Regional nips Donovan Catholic

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) and the visiting Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ), observed Southern Regional's basketball team edge Donovan Catholic by a score of 58-53.

The Rams (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Toms River North (Toms River, NJ). The Mariners come into the Shore A - South challenge with a 6-10 record.

In their next game, the Griffins battle the Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Donovan Catholic will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record.
