The Eldorado Golden Eagles basketball squad (Albuquerque, NM), was nudged 68-63 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM)
With the victory, Santa Fe advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Demons travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Bears in a 5A District 2 battle on Thursday, January 30. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 12-7. La Cueva won 83-48 in their recent league battle against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)
The Golden Eagles now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandia for a 5A District 2 battle on Thursday, January 30. Eldorado will meet a Matadors squad coming off a 70-34 league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 16-3.
