The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) and the visiting Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX), observed The Colony's basketball team overcome Highland Park by a margin of 74-59.

The Cougars (20-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region II District 12 challenge with a 9-19 record. In their last challenge, Creekview dropped by Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 61-58, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Scots battle the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Highland Park will attempt to better on its 23-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-19 record after their 63-58 league loss to Reedy (Frisco, TX).
