The Iola Bulldogs nipped the host Snook Bluejays basketball squad by a final score of 49-46 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Hearne Eagles (Hearne, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 26 outing, on Friday, January 31. Iola will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 21-4 record after their 70-33 league win over Snook (Snook, TX).

The Bluejays (15-12) will now prepare for their outing against Bremond (Bremond, TX). The Tigers enter the 2A Region IV District 26 outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Bremond got by Burton (Burton, TX), 61-37, in a league outing.
