In Friday's league contest, the visiting Snook Bluejays basketball team scored a big 77-56 triumph over the Iola Bulldogs.
The Bluejays (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bremond (Bremond, TX). The Tigers go into the 2A Region IV District 26 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Bremond smashed Burton (Burton, TX), 54-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hearne Eagles (Hearne, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 26 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Iola will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 15-4 record after their 64-40 non-league loss to Chaparral (Killeen, TX).
