The Science Hill Hilltoppers basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Jefferson County Patriots to 49 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hilltoppers now have a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Dobyns-Bennett for a 4A District 1 game on Friday, January 31. Science Hill will confront a Indians team coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Gate City (Gate City, VA). The Indians record now stands at 17-7.

With the loss, Jefferson County falls to 16-9 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to confront the Smoky Bears in a 4A District 2 game on Friday, January 31. The Smoky Bears go into the game with a record of 14-5.
