The Science Hill Hilltoppers basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Jefferson County Patriots to 54 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hilltoppers now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ensworth for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Science Hill will play a Tigers team coming off a 83-71 non-league win over Rockvale (Rockvale, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Jefferson County falls to 8-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN) to face the Cherokees in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Cherokees enter the match with a record of 2-8. South-Doyle lost 69-52 in their recent non-league match against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN)
