The Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) basketball edged the visiting Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), 55-48 in Tuesday's league bout.

The War Eagles now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Savannah for a A D2 Region 3 bout on Friday, January 31. Jenkins County will play a Bluejackets team coming off a 66-64 league win over Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Bluejackets record now stands at 15-4.
