In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Laney Wildcats basketball team scored a big 64-43 triumph over the Josey Eagles.
The Wildcats (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Burke County (Waynesboro, GA). The Bears go into the AA Region 4 contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Burke County was trounced by Thomson (Thomson, GA), 71-63, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) in a AA Region 4 contest, on Friday, January 31. Josey will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 82-79 league win over Laney (Augusta, GA).
