The Laney Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Josey Eagles to 33 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Thomson for a AA Region 4 game on Tuesday, January 7.
With the loss, Josey falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 0-10. Washington-Wilkes lost 62-40 in their recent league game against Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA)
