The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) and the visiting Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI), observed South Lyon East's basketball team overcome Lakeland by a margin of 52-38.

The Cougars (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI). The Maples come into the non-league challenge with a 1-14 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Friday, January 31. Lakeland will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record.
