In Tuesday's league test, the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), by a final score of 80-50.

Next, the Grape Pickers clash with the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 test, on Friday, January 31. North East will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Lancers come into the test with a 4-13 record after their 85-35 non-league loss to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA).

The Wildcats (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Girard (Girard, PA). The Yellowjackets come into the District 10 Region 6 test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Girard bounced Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA), 66-33, in a non-league test.
