The North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) basketball crushed the host Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), 54-33 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Grape Pickers now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Meadville for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21. North East will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-53 non-league win over Hickory (Hermitage, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Northwestern falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Corry (Corry, PA) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Corry lost 66-23 in their recent league bout against Oil City (Oil City, PA)
