Texas High School Basketball - St. Thomas Episcopal nips Northland Christian

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Thomas Episcopal Saints (Houston, TX) and the visiting Northland Christian Cougars (Houston, TX), observed St. Thomas Episcopal's basketball team edge Northland Christian by a margin of 72-71.

The Saints (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against First Baptist Christian (Pasadena, TX). The Warriors come into the TAPPS 4A District 6 challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, First Baptist Christian was tipped by Westbury Christian (Houston, TX), 62-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Rosehill Christian Eagles (Tomball, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 6 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Northland Christian will attempt to better on its 21-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 93-39 league loss to St. Francis Episcopal (Houston, TX).
