Texas High School Basketball - Northland Christian sneaks past St. Thomas Episcopal

The Northland Christian Cougars (Houston, TX) basketball edged the host St. Thomas Episcopal Saints (Houston, TX), 62-60 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they host First Baptist Christian for a TAPPS 4A District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Northland Christian will play a Warriors team coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Bay Area Christian (League City, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, St. Thomas Episcopal falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Prestonwood Christian lost 68-59 in their recent non-league bout against Kingdom Collegiate Academy (DeSoto, TX)
