The Unity Christian Lions (Rome, GA) basketball were winner over the visiting Oakwood Christian Eagles (Chickamauga, GA), 63-49 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Lions now possess a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to North Georgia Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. Unity Christian will play a Knights team coming off a 70-55 league loss to Philadelphia Christian School (Calhoun, GA). The Knights record now stands at 4-13.
With the loss, Oakwood Christian falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Eagles host Excel Christian Academy (Cartersville, GA) to play the Eagles in a GAPPS - I-A Region 1 bout on Thursday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Excel Christian Academy won 54-32 in their recent non-league bout against Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA)
