The Unity Christian Lions (Rome, GA) basketball edged the visiting Oakwood Christian Eagles (Chickamauga, GA), 54-52 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 8-15 record. They play next when they travel to Excel Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Unity Christian will play a Eagles team coming off a 82-61 non-league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Cumming, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 15-8.
With the loss, Oakwood Christian falls to 6-15 on the campaign.
