In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Paton-Churdan Rockets basketball team scored a big 68-41 triumph over the West Harrison Hawkeyes.
The Rockets (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Central Valley (Stuart, IA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, West Central Valley was trounced by Madrid (Madrid, IA), 81-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawkeyes confront the Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. West Harrison will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 2-14 record after their 72-46 league loss to Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA).
