In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Pikeville Panthers basketball team scored a big 66-41 win over the Shelby Valley Wildcats.
The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington Expression Prep (Huntington, WV). The Kings come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Huntington Expression Prep was trounced by Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD), 58-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Shelby Valley will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Owls / Lady Owls come into the contest with a 5-16 record after their 67-58 league loss to Estill County (Irvine, KY).
