The Pikeville Panthers basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Shelby Valley Wildcats to 56 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Paintsville for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Pikeville will confront a Tigers team coming off a 60-55 league win over Martin County (Inez, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 18-7.
With the loss, Shelby Valley falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Friday, February 14.
