In Tuesday's league contest, the host Wyatt Chaparrals basketball team scored a good 54-46 triumph over the Polytechnic Parrots.

The Chaparrals (5-19) will now prepare for their contest against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions go into the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 6-20 record. In their last contest, South Hills was topped by Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX), 82-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Parrots battle the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 contest, on Friday, January 31. Polytechnic will attempt to better on its 10-15 season record. The Steers go into the contest with a 7-17 record after their 92-26 league loss to Paschal (Fort Worth, TX).
