Virginia High School Basketball - West Potomac victorious over South County

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting West Potomac Wolverines basketball team scored a good 58-47 triumph over the South County Stallions.
The Wolverines (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers go into the District 4 contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Woodson topped Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 77-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Stallions battle the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) in a District 4 contest, on Friday, January 31. South County will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 52-40 league win over West Springfield (Springfield, VA).
