Virginia High School Basketball - West Potomac held off by South County

In Saturday's league test, the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) basketball squad got by the host West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA), by a score of 79-76.

Next, the Stallions encounter the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) in a District 4 test, on Wednesday, January 8. South County will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 46-45 non-league win over Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).
