Kentucky High School Basketball - McLean County overwhelms Apollo

The McLean County Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Apollo Eagles to 9 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Grayson County for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. McLean County will play a Cougars team coming off a 61-27 non-league win over Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Apollo falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Owensboro (Owensboro, KY) to play the Red Devils in a District 9 game on Friday, January 31. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 10-6. Owensboro won 70-67 in their recent league game against Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY)
