In Friday's non-league contest, the host McLean County Cougars basketball team scored a big 53-23 triumph over the Apollo Eagles.

The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Apollo will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 49-25 non-league win over Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY).
